We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager
to oversee weekend site operations at a high-profile location in the Sydney CBD. The successful candidate will coordinate construction activities, manage site personnel, and ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site coordination: Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities and logistics.
- Worker supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Safety and compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all work complies with legal requirements, building codes, and company standards. Issue permits for high-risk activities (appropriate qualifications required).
- Quality assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, check materials, and verify compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Problem-solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise during construction to keep work on track.
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 6:00am to 4:00pm (hours may vary depending on project needs).
- Proven site construction experience is essential.
- Experience working on Fit Out and Refurb projects is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications allowing you to issue high-risk work permits.
- Sound understanding of WHS regulations, building codes, and site management processes.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards under minimal supervision.
