Site Supervisor
I am working with a well-established QLD based, construction company delivering quality projects across Far North Queensland. Due to continued growth, I am seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their Cairns-based team and support the delivery of residential and commercial projects.
This role suits a hands-on supervisor who takes pride in site organisation, safety and workmanship, and enjoys working closely with trades and project teams.
The Role
As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Daily supervision of site works and subcontractors
- Coordinate trades, materials and deliveries
- Ensure works are completed in line with programme and drawings
- Maintain high standards of site safety, quality and housekeeping
- Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
- Identify and resolve on-site issues
- Liaise with Project Managers, clients and consultants as required
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman
- Strong trade background (carpentry or similar highly regarded)
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant tickets, licenses and construction qualifications preferred
