This is a hands-on role reporting to the Site Manager, focusing on coordination and supervision of finishes trades to deliver premium outcomes on time and to specification.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Finishes Site Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee and coordinate all finishes trades on site, ensuring quality and productivity
- Monitor workmanship to align with design intent, drawings and specifications
- Conduct regular quality inspections and lead defect management processes
- Liaise directly with subcontractors, suppliers and site management
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and site procedures
- Contribute to program planning and coordination of finishes activities
- Report progress, issues and risk mitigation to the Site Manager
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience supervising finishes works on large multi-residential or commercial projects
- Strong understanding of finishes disciplines including tiling, painting, joinery, tiling, and flooring
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead trades and foster strong relationships
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and keen attention to detail
- Sound understanding of site safety practices and quality management systems
- Construction industry White Card (mandatory)
- Relevant trade background or tertiary qualification in construction (advantage)
