An experienced Site Manager is required to lead the delivery of a veterinary fit-out project in Adelaide.
This is an 11-week contract role, ideal for a hands-on construction professional with a strong background in commercial fit-outs, refurbishment projects, and live environment construction.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating daily site activities
- Driving programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved
- Maintaining site safety and ensuring compliance with all WHS requirements
- Coordinating deliveries, logistics, and site access
- Conducting quality inspections and defect management
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Managing site documentation, permits, inductions, and reporting
- Ensuring a high-quality finish in line with project specifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
- Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and site compliance requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve problems
- Relevant trade or construction qualifications
- Current White Card
