You’ll take ownership of everything needed to get a site build‑ready — early trades, documentation checks, materials, surveys, and making sure each job kicks off smoothly.
Day‑to‑day includes:
- Checking plans, engineering, energy reports and approvals
- Organising surveys, earthworks, access, fencing and safety
- Ordering early‑stage materials (plumbing, concrete, frames, hardware)
- Booking and coordinating early trades
- Fixing issues before they slow down the build
- Handing over cleanly to the main Site Supervisor
What You’ll Bring
- Residential construction experience (site, scheduling, pre‑start or coordination)
- Trade background ideal — carpentry and brick laying ideal
- Great for someone stepping off the tools and wanting to grow into a supervisor role
- Familiar with the residential building process and how jobs flow
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence dealing with trades and suppliers
- Ability to juggle multiple jobs across NOR & SOR with a team
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
