A fast-growing embedded network operator backed by a well-established Australian energy group is looking for a senior BDM to drive new site acquisition across New South Wales. The business is nimble, community-minded and moving quickly, with a clear mandate to grow its footprint across both markets.
About the role
This is a pure hunting role. You'll be responsible for identifying and converting new embedded network sites, working closely with developers, strata managers and building owners across NSW. The company has its offering dialled in and is market competitive, so this comes down to relationships, personal brand and the ability to close.
What you'll be doing
- Identifying and converting new embedded network opportunities across NSW
- Building and maintaining relationships with developers, strata managers and building owners
- Managing a pipeline from first contact through to contract execution
- Representing the business at industry events and through your personal network
- Feeding market intelligence back to the wider team to shape the product and go-to-market approach
- Working toward a target of 1,000 new connection points in year one, stepping up from there
- Proven track record in embedded network, utilities or energy sales with runs on the board
- An established network across the NSW property and strata sector
- A hunter mentality with the ability to manage a long sales cycle
- Strong personal brand in the market, the kind of person opportunities follow
- Based in NSW with the ability to travel as needed

- Competitive base up to circa $180k + super, depending on experience
