Are you an experienced Steel Fabricator who enjoys working on high-end, custom projects?
This role gives you the chance to join a well-known manufacturer specialising in bespoke staircases and architectural metalwork, working as part of a close-knit and supportive team.
You’ll be based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, fabricating one-off pieces rather than repetitive structural work, with great variety day to day. There’s also room to grow long-term, with development and career progression available for the right person.

Role:
- Fabricate custom staircases, balustrades, handrails, and other bespoke steel products.
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium.
- Read and work from technical drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with the occasional on-site install when required.
- Work safely and maintain quality standards across all projects.
- Experienced fabricator, ideally from a workshop or manufacturing background.
- Confident with MIG and TIG welding (stainless steel and aluminium).
- Experience working on custom or bespoke products – stairs, gates, balustrades, or similar.
- Good understanding of how metals react under heat.
- Team player who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
- Not looking for structural steel experience – this role is focused on bespoke fabrication.
