Structural Foreman
Design & Build is working with a well-established and award-winning SEQ-based property development and construction company to find a Structural Foreman. The successful applicant will work on a mid-rise mixed-use apartment development project in north Brisbane.
This significant development includes residential apartments and retail/commercial space, delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. With structure and timelines being critical to the success of the overall build, you will play a key leadership role on site.
The Position
To be successful in this role you will have recent experience as a Structures Foreman on mid-rise residential, retail, or commercial projects circa $50M - $80M.
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of the trades people and sub-contractors on site and be able to push the project in order to achieve timely milestones. Your Experience and Qualifications
- Must have recent experience as a structures foreman
- Large scale commercial project experience
- Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and sub-contractors alike
- Ability to hold toolbox talks and promote safe work sites
- Have the ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team
- Ability to write a short-term construction programme
- Experience using Hammertech, Procore, and MS Projects
