Supervisor
Design & Build Recruitment is partnering with a national modular construction company. Our client is making a real difference in the health, education, and social housing space within Queensland. I am searching for a supervisor to manage the construction of these modular build projects.
This is not your typical on-site construction-based position. The successful candidate will be based on a fixed construction / manufacturing site in Coopers Plains. No more worrying about where your next project will be and travelling for hours. Your future, and project pipeline is locked in for several years.
The successful applicant will be taking charge of your team and the construction of a variety of modular new build projects. Your modular builds will then be transported to various education, social housing, or health projects. This is the way of the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of the factory and construction site teams.
- Manage the construction of modular buildings for social housing, education, and health sectors.
- Maintain safety of the site and your team.
- Ensure your buildings are of the highest standard.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of workers.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess the progress and quality of work.
- Proven experience in a construction or factory supervisory role.
- Trade qualification is preferred – building or metal trades
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control.
- Ability to read plans.
- Computer literate.
