About the Role:
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard of quality.
The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling for work, including to regional project sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities and construction works
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and company policies
- Monitor project progress, programme and timelines
- Report progress and any site issues to the Project Manager
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality
- Manage site documentation, inspections and reporting
- Assist with resolving construction issues and coordinating site requirements
- Travel to regional project sites as required
- Current QBCC licence
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR certification
- Proven experience supervising building or construction projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of site safety and quality requirements
- Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, trades and project teams
- Must be willing and able to travel for work, including regional travel
- Ability to commit to the full 6-month contract
- Able to successfully pass a drug and medical assessment
