The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for turning concept and design intent into fully compliant, highly accurate technical drawings. You’ll work closely with sales, interior designers and project managers to ensure that projects are practical, buildable and delivered on time and budget.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing and revising technical drawings
- Ensuring drawings meet building code compliance, permits and internal QA standards
- Acting as a bridge between sales, designers and delivery teams
- Catching compliance issues early, preventing costly rework
- Managing RFIs and coordinating responses with relevant stakeholders
- Delivering fast, accurate drawing revisions, typically within 48 hours
- 4–5 years’ experience in drafting / technical design, ideally in commercial fit-out
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit
- Understanding of building permits, compliance, and QA processes
- Excellent attention to detail and dimension accuracy
- Analytical, logical thinker with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
- Comfortable working closely with sales and design teams to ensure budget alignment
- Experience detailing joinery, partitions, ceilings, or other fit-out elements
- Familiarity with project/task management platforms like Monday.com
- Exposure to cost estimation or understanding cost implications of design changes
- Competitive salary: $80k – $90k + super
