We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially focused Transport Manager to lead the end-to-end performance of our transport network across all facilities. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, safety, consistency, and scalability across a growing, multi-site operation.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the future of the transport function, ensuring it supports both current operations and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities Operational Performance
- Own and optimise the end-to-end performance of the transport network across all sites
- Ensure consistent service delivery, reliability, and efficiency across all facilities
- Develop and implement best-practice transport operating standards
- Lead, coach, and develop transport leaders, supervisors, and drivers
- Build a high-performance, safety-first culture across the transport function
- Drive accountability, engagement, and capability development
- Ensure full compliance with all transport, WHS, and regulatory requirements
- Proactively manage risk, incidents, and investigations
- Champion a strong safety culture with zero-harm objectives
- Design and implement scalable transport models to support business growth
- Support new site integrations, fleet expansion, and operational change
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align transport strategy with business objectives
- Manage transport budgets and cost controls
- Identify and deliver cost efficiencies without compromising service or safety
- Monitor and report on key transport and financial KPIs
- Drive the effective use of transport systems, telematics, and reporting tools
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and performance
- Use data and insights to inform decision-making and optimise outcomes
- As the Transport Manager you'll have senior experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain leadership roles
- The Transport Manager will have proven ability to manage complex, multi-site transport operations
- This Transport Manager will have strong knowledge of transport compliance, safety, and risk management
- As the Transport Manager you'll have commercially astute with experience managing budgets and cost performance
- The Transport Manager must have a confident, influential leader with excellent stakeholder management skills
- The Transport Manager will be experienced in driving change, scalability, and continuous improvement
- $130,000 – $150,000 + Super
