The Role:
Not just a desk job, this role will see you out across the Perth metro everyday, using cutting edge locating technology to identify and mark underground services before the first bucket his the ground and will include:
- Locating and mapping pipelines, gas mains, water lines, power, and communications.
- Interpreting plans and drawings, then making them real on site.
- Marking utilities clearly so crews can dig with confidence.
- Working alongside contractors, engineers, and project managers on diverse sites from CBD streets to industrial estates.
- Helping prevent costly strikes, delays, and safety incidents.
- Experience in utility locating, surveying, or a related field (surveyors wanting a more varied and exciting career path are encouraged to apply).
- The ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings.
- A White Card and current WA driver’s licence (essential).
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage directly with clients on site.
- A safety first mindset and attention to detail.
