Are you an experienced Warehouse Storeman looking to take ownership of a newly established warehouse environment?
Do you enjoy working autonomously, managing stock accuracy, and being trusted to run day-to-day warehouse operations?
On offer is a full-time warehouse role based at a head office facility, managing machine films and packaging materials. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate stock control, proper storage, and timely receipt and dispatch of goods, while working closely with supply chain and customer service teams.
This organisation operates nationally and is investing in a new warehouse facility to support continued growth. With a strong internal structure and long-term plans in place, they are seeking a reliable warehouse professional who can operate independently and help establish efficient, well-organised processes.
The Role:
- Manage machine films and packaging materials at head office
- Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of stock via trucks and containers
- Manage warehouse stock movements to customers, primarily across Victoria
- Maintain accurate stock levels, lot tracking, and location control using SAP
- Support national deliveries where required
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight
- Maintain a clean, food-grade warehouse environment
- Liaise closely with supply chain, customer service, and the existing storeman
- Ensure accurate documentation and smooth day-to-day warehouse operations
The Person:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or storeman role
- Forklift licence essential, with articulated forklift experience
- Experience using SAP or similar systems with lot tracking
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable with occasional heavy lifting
- Detail-oriented, organised, and reliable
