About the Role
As a Water Treatment Operator, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting of water treatment systems.
This is a field-based position offering variety, autonomy and the chance to work on technically interesting projects.
You'll play a key role in ensuring systems operate efficiently while delivering exceptional service to customers.
About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A trade qualification as a Fitter, Plumber or Mechanical Plumber
- Previous water treatment experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- A genuine willingness to learn and develop specialist water treatment skills
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- A willingness to perform manual labour on-site when required
- Strong attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to interpret technical plans, diagrams and manuals to diagnose and resolve system issues
- Confidence working independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with poly welding, pipe gluing and steel welding (highly regarded)
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a strong work ethic
